Within a space of only 35 square metres, the request of the project was to realise a hairdresser’s shop in an open space with both a private and a common space, according to the needs. The objective was to give a hierarchical organisation of the internal space that has been divided into main areas. In the back part, far from the entrance, there are the utility room and toilet. In the centre, the technical area, hided by a steel wall, that allows the sun to light the side and to preserve the privacy of the customers. The cutting area, that is in front of the street makes the shop itself an exposition window.
Objectives
- Open Space
- More confidentiality in the back side, for the technical area and make-up application zone
- Black and white, the colours of the brand
Actions
- Functional hierarchy determination
- Planning of a filter wall between the internal different areas
- Minimal style furniture
Results
The problem of having only one side with natural light illumination, has found a solution in the realization of a not empty wall in iron profiles that divide the different areas. It allow a good natural lighting and it offerers a non-limited perception of the small interior spaces, preserving privacy during the applications of the treatments.
